Xferity

Privacy

This page explains how xferity.com handles personal data collected through the website. Xferity product deployments are self-hosted and follow the data-handling model described in the docs trust pages.

Scope of this privacy notice

This privacy notice applies to the public Xferity website, including demo-request submissions and normal website access. It does not describe how your own self-hosted Xferity deployment processes file-transfer data inside infrastructure you control.

Information we collect

When you submit the demo request form, we collect the information you provide directly, including your name, work email, company, role, phone number if provided, and the message you send us.

We also process limited technical and request metadata needed to operate the site and protect the demo endpoint, including IP-based request information used for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and service reliability.

How we use information

We use submitted information to respond to your inquiry, qualify and schedule technical discussions, understand your deployment and security requirements, and follow up on your request for a Xferity evaluation or demo.

We also use request metadata to prevent spam, rate-limit abusive traffic, monitor service reliability, and protect website systems.

How website data is handled

Website-submitted information is handled as website inquiry data, not as product telemetry from your Xferity deployment. The product itself is self-hosted and, as documented in the trust pages, does not send operational file-transfer data, audit records, or configuration telemetry to a Xferity-operated cloud service.

Sharing and disclosure

We use submitted information to handle your inquiry and internal follow-up. We do not describe this website as a public data marketplace, ad network, or telemetry collection service. If disclosure is required for legal compliance, security response, or business operations related to your request, it is limited to what is necessary for that purpose.

Retention

Inquiry records are retained only as long as needed for business follow-up, operational protection, and legal or administrative obligations. Request metadata may also be retained as needed for abuse monitoring and service protection.

Security

We apply security-focused operational practices to website systems, including access control, request validation, and abuse protection. No website can promise absolute security, but submitted information is handled with the goal of limiting unnecessary exposure and protecting service integrity.

Your requests

If you want to ask about, update, or request deletion of information you submitted through the website, contact us through the demo form and include Privacy Request in your message so the request can be routed correctly.
